Market data dates
Check the date behind your market data
A recent sale, an active listing and a monthly market total describe different moments. Read the source and date alongside the number.
Check listing dates and reporting periods
- Listing status
Listing information can change between the last update and your client conversation. The source timestamp tells you when the displayed status was retrieved.
- Closed sales
The sale date and the date a closed transaction enters a data source can differ. Keep both dates in view when comparing recent sales.
- Market reports
A monthly report describes its reporting period. Its publication date is separate from the dates of the transactions it summarizes.
- Missing updates
When an update is delayed, use the last available date to describe the information accurately.
